Terms And Conditions Of Hire
THE INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN ENSURES THAT OUR PASSENGERS ENJOY TRAVELLING WITH SILK LIMOUSINES TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY. YOU MAY BE ASKED TO SIGN A HARD COPY OF OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS PRIOR TO TRAVEL. Please ensure you read our terms and conditions of hire carefully.
1. Bookings are only secured on receipt of the non-refundable deposit which must be paid for with a credit / debit card.
2. Any breakages / damage will be charged to the credit /debit card and you will be notified at the end of hire of any such charges.
3. Balances must be paid 14 days prior to the hire date by debit or credit card or in cash at the time of collection.
4. A cancellation is only accepted in writing and MUST be no later than 14 Days prior to the Hire. In the event of cancellation any moneys paid will be retained by Silk Limousines. If less than 14 Days full payment will be due.
5. In the unlikely event that Silk Limousines is unable to complete the booking for any reason beyond its control an alternative car will be offered or a full refund given. Beyond this Silk Limousines will not be liable.
6. Although Silk Limousines will make every effort to meet deadlines it will accept no responsibility for any delays.
7. A waiting time of up to 15 min’s beyond the agreed pickup time will be allowed. After this time a charge of £20 per 15 minutes of waiting time will be charged to the credit/debit card.
8. For collections from airports, waiting time will be charged after the first 90 mintes from landing time. should a delayed flight affect another clients' reservation of a limousine, Silk Limousines reserve the right to provide an alternative vehicle from the airport.
9. Passengers are NOT permitted to smoke in the limousine and the consumption of food is also NOT permitted inside the vehicle. Silk Limousines reserves the right to terminate the rental following any infringement of this condition.
10. The client is responsible for the conduct of their guests at all times. Silk Limousines will invoice the client for any damages to the vehicle caused by the client or their guests (including a £150 valeting charge due to misuse of food or drink or illness).
11. Any additional Pickups , Drop offs or stops that have not been previously agreed within a five mile radius will be charged at a standard rate of £10.00. Out side of the five mile radius will be charged at £20.00
12. For safety reasons Silk Limousines may refuse to transport passengers or luggage if it is considered that the vehicle is overloaded or the passengers are unfit to travel.
13. Although Silk Limousines will take every care, no responsibility will be accepted for any loss or damage to luggage or personal property.
14. No responsibility will be accepted for any vehicle access restrictions at any destination.
15. By signing and returning the Confirmation of Booking (including these Terms and Conditions) the client agrees to all points and she/he has entered into a binding contract with Silk Limousines.
16. Should the terms and conditions not be returned to Silk Limousines a copy of the conditions will be given to the hirer at time of the hire. Should the passengers board the limousine it will be deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions in full.
